Company history
In 1960, Biloxi trawl maker Francis “Junius” Creel went to a Louisiana man, who was in the boat business, to collect money for some trawl nets. When the man told the Biloxian he had no cash, Junius pointed to two outboard motors that he brought home.
This is how the Creel family boat and outboard motor sales and service business began on Reynoir Street in the same building as the trawl business. All four of Junius’ sons learned the trade under the name of Dale’s Outboards.
In 1979, one of the four sons, Junius, bought the business and renamed it Seven C’s Marine after his family of seven, including his wife and five children. The family reference is very significant since a third generation now works here. Along with his son, daughter, grandsons, and nephew, Junius works hard to help provide family fun for all of his customers.
Even through Hurricane Camille and Hurricane Katrina, Seven C’s Marine has become a mainstay in Biloxi for providing sales and service to the people of Mississippi Gulf Coast and surrounding states.
